Trainer and Betway ambassador Kayley Woollacott is busy preparing her star chaser Lalor for a tilt at the Grade 1 Arkle Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

The talented seven-year-old, who is already a Grade 1 winner over hurdles, got his chasing career off to the perfect start in November when taking the Grade 2 Arkle Trophy Trial Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham.

Since then, Lalor tasted defeat when third behind the Paul Nicholls-trained Dynamite Dollars in the Grade 1 Henry VIII Novices’ Chase at Sandown last month.

Despite that third-placed finish, Lalor remains at the head of the betting for the Arkle.

In the second part of the Betway video series, Woollacott and Lalor’s owner David Staddon relive the novice chaser’s first two outings of the campaign and follows the trainer as she builds up to the biggest challenge of her career so far.

Thank you to Betway for the video
