Today’s racing

Market Rasen’s card today features the Listed mares’ bumper (2m) which gives owners of the nine runners the chance to secure valuable black type.

Kim Bailey’s Hollymount Holly will look to follow up her impressive debut in a bumper at Hereford last month when she justified favouritism to score by five lengths, having previously won a point-to-point by 12 lengths.

Alan King sends out Pitchall Stud homebred Midnight Ginger, a daughter of the operation’s late and great jumps sire Midnight Legend. Jockey Tom Bellamy retains the ride on the four-year-old having been aboard when she won at Newbury last month.

The race has also attracted the Willie Mullins-trained Panic Attack, who is making her debut for connections.

All-weather action comes from Newcastle while Ludlow and Wincanton will have to pass 8am inspections if their meetings are to go ahead.
