Tattersalls Ireland has revealed it will sponsor the Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle, which features as part of next month’s Dublin Racing Festival.

This year’s running of the two-mile contest will be held at Leopardstown on Sunday, February 7 and initial entries include the Joseph O’Brien-trained Busselton and Gordon Elliott’s exciting quintet of Duffle Coat, Quilixios, Riviere D’etel, Teahupoo and Zanahiyr.

Tattersalls Ireland’s Chief Executive Simon Kerins said: “This is our fourth year sponsoring the Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival. The Dublin Racing Festival presents some of the highest-calibre horses in the country and we are delighted to be involved again in such an important weekend for Irish racing.

“As a company we pride ourselves on our continued commitment to the National Hunt industry and we are looking forward to what is certain to be another very competitive renewal.”

Tim Husbands, Chief Executive of Leopardstown racecourse, added: “Tattersalls Ireland have been outstanding partners of Leopardstown and their continued support for Irish racing is a strong vote of confidence for this leading event in our industry, despite the current challenging times.

“I would like to express our gratitude to Tattersalls Ireland who have been an integral part of the success of the Dublin Racing Festival.”
