Following on from their successful launch last year, twelve more ROA Racedays are to be hosted across Great Britain in 2020. The days are intended to both recognise existing members and to promote the thrill and accessibility of ownership to potential racehorse owners.
For ROA members the Racedays will incorporate the popular regional meetings which include lunch and an update from the ROA Chief Executive and Industry Executives, as well as an opportunity to use the racecourse facility for the day.
Regional meetings continue to be popular with their members and they look forward to seeing many of you over the course of the year. To allow more members to enjoy the ROA Racedays, racecourses will also offer complimentary admission to all ROA members.
The ROA team will be on hand to answer any ownership or membership queries you have. The day will also see a well-known figure in racing act as an ownership host.
The entire day’s racecard will celebrate ownership and members will be invited to take part in the numerous best turned out awards and post-race presentations for winners.
The highlight of the card will be the ROA Owners Jackpot race which gives a £2,000 bonus to the winning horse if it’s majority-owned by ROA members, and £250 in travelling expenses to all qualifying runners, together with a bonus for the Winning Yard and Breeder if qualified.
Invites to the Regional Meetings will be sent to members who live in the surrounding area around six weeks before the event. If you would like to attend, please email info@roa.co.uk or book online at www.roa.co.uk/events
The Racehorse Owners Association (ROA) has around 8,000 members and promotes and protects the interests of racehorse owners in Great Britain. Since 1945 they have been making members’ racehorse ownership more cost-effective and enjoyable.
