The breeze for the Tattersalls Guineas Sale will begin at 9am today and will be shown live on Tattersalls’ website www.tattersalls.com.

This year’s Guineas Breeze-Up Sale will take place on Wednesday, beginning at midday, with a total 157 lots set to go under the hammer and takes place ahead of the July Sale, which will begin a two-day run on Thursday.

Individual videos of the two-year-olds breezing will be available to view on the Tattersalls website following the completion of the breeze.

Today’s racing

El Ray, a full-brother to last year’s Irish 2,000 Guineas hero Phoenix Of Spain, will make his debut in the second division of the Follow At The Races on Twitter Novice Stakes (1m) at Windsor today.

By Ballylinch’s hotshot Lope De Vega, El Ray was sourced by Brendan Holland’s Grove Stud for €110,000 as a foal but did not take up entries in either the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale or Arqana Breeze-Up Sale.

Now in the care of trainer Kevin Ryan, El Ray will be ridden by Ryan Moore and will face ten rivals including the Richard Hannon-trained Hot Summer, who was last seen finishing second over course and distance last month.

There are also Flat meetings from Ayr and Thirsk today while Uttoxeter stages a National Hunt card that includes the Listed Summer Cup Handicap Chase (3m2f).
