One of the most eagerly anticipated foals of recent times arrived at 3.54pm on Friday in a ‘strikingly-marked colt’ by Kingman out of the brilliant Enable.

Bred by Juddmonte Farms, which bred and raced both Kingman and Enable, the colt was foaled the day before Enable’s own birthday. The farm reported that the mare had ‘taken to her maternal duties extremely well’.

Enable’s glittering career for John Gosden featured 11 victories at the highest level including a record-breaking three King Georges, two Arcs, an Epsom Oaks, an Irish Oaks, an Eclipse Stakes and a Breeders’ Cup Turf.

The daughter of Nathaniel, who represents four generations of Juddmonte breeding, is due to visit Dubawi this season.
