A total of 1,175 lots have been catalogued for the Tattersalls December Foal Sale, which starts on Wednesday, November 28 and runs until Saturday, December 1.

Star lots include the Dubawi half-brother to Grade 1 winner Zhukova (Lot 1006) and the Galileo full sister to three-time Group 1 winner Decorated Knight (1010).

Foals by Dark Angel, Invincible Spirit and a Frankel colt out of the well-bred Montjeu mare Auld Alliance (1061) will be offered as part of the dispersal of European-based stock of American chef Bobby Flay.

Thirty first-crop sires will be represented at the sale. Alongside Derby winner Harzand, the Classic and Group 1 winners include Awtaad, Belardo, Bobby’s Kitten, Charming Thought, Fascinating Rock, Hunter’s Light, Marcel, New Bay, Pride Of Dubai, The Gurkha, The Last Lion, Twilight Son and Vadamos.

Willie Carson’s Minster Stud, which consigned the Dubawi half-brother to Jack Hobbs that topped 2017’s edition of the auction at 750,000gns, will offer a Golden Horn half-brother to the Irish Derby winner (1068).
