No Nay Never’s outstanding start to his stallion career has resulted in the Coolmore sire’s stud fee rising from €25,000 to €100,000 for 2019.  

The son of the late Scat Daddy has supplied 22 winners from 41 runners from his first crop of juveniles in Britain and Ireland, headed by the unbeaten Ten Sovereigns, winner of the Group 1 Juddmonte Middle Parks Stakes in September. 

His other stakes winners include Group 2 scorer Land Force and the Listed-winning trio of All The King’s Men, No Needs Never and Servalan.  

No Nay Never’s progeny in Britain and Ireland have earned £833,568, leaving him £515,382 clear of his nearest rival Kingman, who sits second in the leading first-season sire standings.  

Winner of the Group 1 Prix Morny, No Nay Never joined Coolmore’s Irish base in 2015 at an introductory fee of €20,000 before standing the 2016 and 2017 seasons at €17,500.  

The seven-year-old received further endorsement of his burgeoning stallion talent at this year’s yearling sales, when a filly from the family of Group 1 winner Landseer sold to Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock for 650,000gns, while MV Magnier went to 600,000gns for the sister to Ten Sovereigns at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.  

Five new stallions have joined the Coolmore roster for 2019 and they are headed by Saxon Warrior, the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas-winning son of Deep Impact, who will stand at an opening fee of €30,000.  

U S Navy Flag is also among the new additions and the three-time Group 1 winner is introduced to breeders at €25,000.  

Fastnet Rock’s son Merchant Navy, who captured the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes in thrilling fashion at Royal Ascot in June, will reverse shuttle to Ireland for 2019 at a fee of €20,000.  

Completing the new additions are Group 1-winning juvenile Sioux Nation and the Group 2-winning and Group 1-placed Gustav Klimt. The pair will stand at fees of €12,500 and €7,500 respectively. 

On the back of his daughter Alpha Centauri winning four Group 1s in a row, Mastercraftsman has had his fee increased to €30,000 (from €25,000) this year, while Coolmore linchpin Galileo remains at a private fee for the 12th consecutive season.
