Kingman has received the biggest boost of his stud career after Juddmonte confirmed that the stallion will cover Kind, the dam of dual world champion Frankel, this year.

In 2019 Kingman’s best performers included French 2,000 Guineas victor Persian King, Group scorers Headman and Sangarius, and King Of Comedy, beaten a neck by Circus Maximus in the St James’s Palace Stakes.

Since retiring to the paddocks, Kind has also produced the Group 1 winner Noble Mission and the stakes scorers Bullet Train and Joyeuse. She visited Galileo for the ninth time in 2019 but slipped her foal.

Kingman, whose fee doubled from £75,000 to £150,000 in 2020, is also set to cover the Group 1 winners Carla Temptress and Romantica. Deliberate, the dam of Group 2 winner Headman, and Helleborine, who is the dam of Coventry Stakes hero Calyx, are also slated to visit the son of Invincible Spirit.

Also among his book for 2020 are Group 2 winner Starformer, the maiden mares Dandhu and Fount, and Big Break, a half-sister to Famous Name.

Kingman’s studmate Frankel is also receiving strong support from the Juddmonte broodmare band with the son of Galileo set to cover the Group 1 winners African Rose, Proviso, Samba Inc, Special Duty and Ventura.

Group 2 scorer Soffia, Photographic and Classical Times, a half-sister to Grade 1 heroine Newspaperofrecord, are also slated to visit Frankel.

Expert Eye, whose first foals are hitting the ground this year, has been well supported by Juddmonte with another quality book of mares for 2020. He will cover dual Group 1 winner Heat Haze, Midday’s half-sister Atone, Group 2 scorer Modern Look and Across The Floor, a half-sister to Group/Grade 1 hero Flintshire.

The son of Dansili will also be visited by Palmette, a sister to Showcasing, Tiadargent, and the Listed winners Rostova, Swiss Range, Scottish Jig and Variable.

Bated Breath will also cover a full book of mares this year including Ombre, the dam of his Group performer Gavota, Group 3 winner Vote Often, the Group-placed Straight Thinking and Tendu, a full sister to Showcasing.

Oasis Dream is set to cover Occurrence, an unraced daughter of Frankel who is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Promising Lead, and the Group performer Gavota.
