Tattersalls has revealed that 497 lots have been catalogued for the two-day February Sale which will take place at Park Paddocks from February 4.

The catalogue includes 192 fillies in and out of training, 41 broodmares, 202 colts and geldings in and out of training, 38 yearlings and 24 two-year-olds.

Noted vendor the Castlebridge Consignment has the largest draft catalogued with 47 lots including the three-time winner Dancing Feet, a daughter of Footstepsinthesand, and the well-bred Aubade, an Invincible Spirit filly who is from the family of Cassandra Go, Halfway To Heaven, Magical and Rhododendron.

Other well-bred fillies that are catalogued are Mystify Me, a half-sister to Group 3 winner Al Raya, and Coniger, a half-sister to two stakes winners whose dam is Falmouth Stakes scorer Macadamia.

There are also drafts from the likes of Godolphin, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell.

Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said: “The Tattersalls February Sale continues to be a consistent source of high-quality breeding stock and horses in training with the dam of last year’s Group 2 Juddmonte Royal Lodge winning two-year-old New Mandate being a prime example.

“Along with the two-year-olds and yearlings on offer, this year’s February Sale looks certain to appeal to the usual diverse mix of domestic and international buyers who have made the Tattersalls February Sale Europe’s premier midwinter fixture.

“Our live internet and telephone bidding facilities will again be available for buyers unable to attend in person and we will continue to explore every possible avenue for buyers to participate at all of our sales despite the prevailing challenges.”
